Melbourne Victory's Tim Hoogland says he's fit and firing for the A-League season return but has his hesitations about the prospect of heading into a NSW hub.

Melbourne Victory defender Tim Hoogland says he would prefer not to head to a NSW Hub to finish the A-League season, though it remains a distinct possibility amid Victoria's coronavirus spike.

The schedule for the remaining 27 matches of the regular season and finals was released by FFA on Tuesday, though venues for some games are unconfirmed amid changing state border restrictions.

FFA head of leagues Greg O'Rourke has flagged both a "NSW Hub model and a hybrid Hub model" as options to complete the season.

"To be fair, I really don't want to go to a Hub because my family is here, I don't want to leave my family all alone for a couple of weeks," Hoogland told reporters on Wednesday.

"So I'd be really pleased if something without hubs, will be in place for us in Victoria.

"At the end we have to see what the A-League is deciding and then we have to see."

Victory, who are 10th, have five regular-season games remaining.

They will play Western Sydney, Brisbane and Perth at Bankwest Stadium but venues for games against Western United and Central Coast are yet to be determined.

Victory have been preparing for their season restart match against United on July 16 to be held at AAMI Park, but the venue has not been confirmed due to the state's latest coronavirus outbreak.

A-League players returned to training two weeks ago and Hoogland, who had much of his debut season ruined by quad injuries, said he was raring to go.

Unlike former skipper Ola Toivonen, German defender Hoogland opted to sign an extension for the remainder of the interrupted campaign and is considering remaining at the A-League club beyond this season.

"I'm definitely open to it (staying)," Hoogland said.

"We have to discuss a lot of things, with what's going on in Germany, how it's going here.

"So, again, a lot of uncertainty at the moment but I'm open to anything."
