Melbourne City re-sign Good, Glover in AL

3 minute read

Melbourne City duo Curtis Good and Tom Glover have re-signed on multi-year A-League deals, giving the club further stability.

Melbourne City have re-signed centre back Curtis Good for a further three years, while Olyroos goalkeeper Tom Glover has inked a two-year extension.

Good has made 70 A-League appearances for City and scored two goals, while Glover has appeared in 17 fixtures for the club since becoming the number one goalkeeper midway through last season.

Since getting his opportunity in goal last season, Glover has been one of the brightest young talents in the A-League and announced himself on the biggest stage last season, pulling off eight saves in the grand final loss to Sydney FC.

"We are delighted to have secured a couple of our key defensive pillars; it adds to the stability that we have built over the past two seasons," Melbourne City director of football Michael Petrillo said.

"Despite his young age, Tom has shown the enormous talent he has in a short period of time and I am sure he will continue to develop and take his game to another level with Melbourne City in the years to come."
