The A-League has made more changes to this season's fixture, postponing Perth Glory's clash with Melbourne Victory and Western United's game in Newcastle.

Perth Glory's A-League home game against Melbourne Victory has been postponed amid the recent changes to border restrictions.

The Glory were due to host Victory on February 13 - in what would have been their first game back in Perth after a stint interstate - but that encounter will now be rescheduled.

The league has also postponed the clash between Western United and Newcastle, which was scheduled for February 10 - though that relates to rejigging other parts of the fixture, with Victory to now play Western Sydney Wanderers away on that day.

The changes came as part of an announcement of multiple fixture moves - with shifting border restrictions allowing NSW clubs to play against teams in Victoria, South Australia and Queensland.

That includes a grand final rematch between Melbourne City and Sydney FC, which has been scheduled for February 16 at AAMI Park.

APL commissioner Greg O'Rourke said while border restrictions remain uncertain, the league hoped to provide a more long-term schedule in its next fixture update.

Perth's lockdown had already seen two changes made to this week's W-League fixture.

The Glory's women were due to play Melbourne City on Thursday then Victory on Sunday, but will instead face Sydney and the Jets respectively.

The City-Sydney W-League game will be played behind closed doors at AAMI Park as the playing surface at the original venue, Dandenong's Frank Holohan Reserve, was deemed unacceptable.
