Macarthur coach Ante Milicic wants to build on the club's first A-League win at Campbelltown Stadium on Friday night to bring success to the Bulls this season.

It took five games to get the first home win but Macarthur coach Ante Milicic believes Friday night's triumph at Campbelltown Stadium is the foundation for what's to come from A-League's newest franchise.

The Bulls had drawn two and lost two games at the ground before thumping Adelaide 4-0 for their maiden home triumph in front of loyal fans to go second on the ladder.

And while Milicic insists he didn't put much stock in their home record before Friday's win, he has vowed to build on the momentum to make their developing brand of football attractive to new fans.

"That's what we're aiming for," he said.

"My job as a football coach is to play decent football but of course you have to pick up points along the way.

"We hadn't won here on four attempts so tonight we did, and the more that we're playing at home the better the results are and the more exposure the local community gets.

"It's a really good opportunity for them to come out and not only support their team in this region but to understand fully that the best teams from around the country at the highest level are coming to Campbelltown to play Macarthur.

"We need to build on this, we know it's not going to happen overnight but I can assure you that everyone in this football club is working hard to make this club successful."

Milicic was thrilled to prove the depth in his squad after making mass changes from the side that beat Brisbane 2-0 just three nights earlier, ending a huge week of three games in seven days.

Rising star Jake Hollman was given his first start after impressing from the bench against the Roar and the 19-year-old midfielder did not disappoint.

"He grew into the game, but he's a really exciting dribbler in the front third so he'll build from that now that he's adjusting with playing with men," Milicic said.

"He's growing and we're really pleased with his progress.

"He's a serious boy, he's a good professional and I think he's benefiting from the environment that the senior players have created at the club."
