Australian John Millman has progressed to the quarter-finals of the Winston-Salem Open after a straight-sets win over Robin Haase.

Australia's John Millman has stormed into the quarter-finals of the Winston-Salem Open after defeating Robin Haase in straight sets.

The 14th-seeded Millman, who enjoyed a first-round bye and a round-two victory aver Italy's Marco Cecchinato, powered to a 6-3 6-4 victory over the Dutch world No.154 in just over 90 minutes.

The world No. 61 will face unseeded American Steve Johnson in the last eight in North Carolina as players tune up for next week's final major of the year at Flushing Meadows.
