Australian No.1 Alex de Minaur has cruised into the last eight at the Antalya Open in Turkey, beating Bulgarian teenager Adrian Andreev 6-3 6-1.

Alex de Minaur has continued his impressive start to 2021, breezing into the quarter-finals at the Antalya Open.

Australia's No.1 cruised to a 6-3 6-1 victory over Bulgarian qualifier Adrian Andreev on Saturday in 70 minutes.

In his opening match of the tournament, De Minaur had needed just 61 minutes to defeat Tunisia's Malek Jaziri 6-2 6-1.

In their first-ever meeting, world No.23 de Minaur was far too good for the youngster Andreev, winning 72 per cent of his first serves.

And he was deadly on return, breaking his 19-year-old opponent, ranked 564 in the world, six times.

De Minaur, the fourth seed in Turkey, is aiming to add a fourth ATP Tour title on hard courts to his resume.

During a breakthrough 2019 campaign, De Minaur claimed his first three tour-level crowns in Sydney, Atlanta and Zhuhai.

The 21-year-old from Sydney will face sixth seed Nikoloz Basilashvili in the last eight after the Georgian recorded a 7-6 (7-1) 6-4 win over Turkish wildcard Altug Celikbilek in 91 minutes.

David Goffin looks as if he could be the man to beat in the tournament.

After saving five match points in his opening match, the Belgian has raised his level game after game, charging through to the quarter-finals with a 56-minute disposal of Spain's Nicola Kuhn 6-0 6-2.

Goffin raced away with the first 10 games of the match, winning 21 of his 23 first-serve points en route to victory and looks in the mood to capture his first since the 2017 Japan Open.

He will face Stefano Travaglia, of Italy, in the last-eight.

Elsewhere, Fabio Fognini beat Czech qualifier Michael Vrbensky 6-4 7-6 (7-4) in one hour and 39 minutes and will next challenge France's Jeremy Chardy, who defeated Radu Albot of Moldova 6-3 6-4.

World No.10 and top seed Matteo Berrettini disposed of Turkish wildcard Ergi Kirkin 6-0 6-4 in just 56 minutes, while serving down eight aces and winning 24 of 26 first-service points.

The Italian will next face Bulgarian qualifier Dimitar Kuzmanov, who led 6-1 3-2 when Serbia's Laslo Djere had to retire with an eye inflammation.
