Alex de Minaur has started his ATP Tour season strongly by advancing to the semi-finals of the Antalya Open with another resounding victory.
Australia's top-ranked player, De Minaur defeated sixth-seeded Nikoloz Basilashvili 6-2 6-4 for his third straight-sets win of the tournament.
Fourth-seeded De Minaur has not dropped a set during the event in Turkey and has lost only 13 games as he searches for his fourth ATP Tour title.
The 21-year-old will face Belgian world No.16 David Goffin in the last four.
He will be hoping to carry his strong form to the Australian Open, which starts in early February, after missing last year's tournament with an abdominal tear.
World No.21, de Minaur enjoyed a breakout year in 2019, winning three titles.
Goffin, the second seed, cruised past Italy's Stefano Travaglia 6-3 6-2 in just over an hour.
The tournament's major upset came in the other half of the draw as Alexander Bublik defeated top seed Matteo Berrettini in their quarter-final.
Kazakhstan's Bublik, 23, secured one of the biggest victories of his career in straight sets, winning 7-6 (8-6) 6-4 in one hour and 31 minutes over the world No.10 Italian.
Next up for Bublik is a showdown with Jeremy Chardy who defeated German fifth seed Jan-Lennard Struff 4-6 6-2 7-6 (8-6).
Frenchman Chardy saved two match points in the deciding tiebreaker of a match that lasted more than two-and-a-half hours.
