Lightly raced gelding Snap Book – one of five last start winners – will need to step up again to be any chance of qualifying for the Newhaven Park Country Championships when he races at Wagga on Thursday.

Local trainer Donna Scott will use this week’s Albury Cup carnival to complete the NSW Country Championship preparation of her impressive final qualifier Bennelong Dancer.

Resuming from a spell, Bennelong Dancer runs on her home track to try and make the big final at Randwick.
