Ben Pearce admits he has been taken aback somewhat by the progress and improvement of Let’s Galahvant who has gone from strength to strength this campaign.

Co trainer Ben Pearce has backed his gelding Dig Deep to run a bold race first up in Saturday’s G3 Furphy Belmont Sprint (1400m) at Belmont.

Dig Deep has got the right draw he needed, but co-trainers Dan and Ben Pearce know he will also need a major does of luck to win the Group 1 Heineken 3 Railway Stakes (1600m) at Ascot on Saturday.
