The slate has been wiped for Wild Wind who resumes racing at Grafton on Monday with expectations he can justify his $2.40 favouritism on TAB at his first race start for five months.

Fledgling apprentice jockey Jasper Franklin couldn’t have started his riding career on a better note when he won at his debut ride and at Coffs Harbour on Friday he could add to his tally.

Wild Wind is yet to live up to his impeccable breeding or the yearling sale price tag that comes with racing's bluebloods, but new trainer Donna Grisedale is expecting a positive start with the three-year-old at Coffs Harbour today where he is the $2.90 TAB favourite.
