Well bred mare Crystal Pallazo (Warrior’s Reward-Carnelian Crystal) produced a form reversal to score an impressive maiden win in Hobart on Sunday.

David Keating is one of racing’s most likeable journeymen and on Wednesday night in Launceston he prepared his first winner as a trainer when Epic Song rattled home to win a class one handicap over 1220m.

While premier trainer Scott Brunton looks set to dominate the show day meeting at Hobart with 28 acceptors, at the other end of the scale, David Keating is hoping to saddle up a winner with one of the two horses he will take to the track as a first-time solo trainer.
