Another brilliant tactical ride by Manoel Nunes was the difference between victory and defeat for last season’s Macau Derby winner Sacred Man in Saturday’s Class 2 over 1500 metres at Taipa.

Peter Ho, last season’s champion rider in Macau, got the new season off to a flying start with a winning treble on Saturday’s mixed turf and sand card at Taipa.

It has taken nearly 12 months for last year’s SJM Macau Derby winner Turquoise Power to make it back to the winners circle, but the five year did it all in good style when he bounced back to form with a strong win over 1800m at Taipa last Saturday.
