Six winners in seven days have made it a productive week in Australia for Animal Kingdom whose fourth crop of Southern Hemisphere foals arrive this spring while he remains in at Darley America in Kentucky in 2018.

The former Stephen Marsh-trained duo Pierrocity and I Am Queen have joined Trent Busuttin and Natalie Young’s Cranbourne stable in the hope of gaining black type.

Animal Kingdom filly I Am Queen streeted a strong maiden field on debut in New Zealand on Saturday.

The covers came off two smart trial performers at Taupo and both lived up to their stable reputations with winning debuts.
