Dubbo gelding Tupou has claimed back-to-back picnic cups after scoring a narrow win in the Robinson Grain Tottenham Picnic Cup (1400m).

Less than a length separated the first five placegetters during Saturday's thrilling finish to the 1400m Total Wear Solutions Australia Bedgerabong Picnic Cup.

It was an easy choice for trainer Kylie Kennedy to pinpoint Sunday’s $50,000 Bankstown Sports Club Forbes Cup (1600m) with consistent mare Wild Rocket given the carrot attached to the feature Country Cup.

Wild Rocket – the mare so aptly named by her owners because of their connection to aviation – is set to do some flying of her own in the QUBE Narromine Cup (1600m) on Sunday.

Narromine-based trainer Kylie Kennedy doesn’t generally get nervous but that’ll change this morning when she heads to Coonamble with Wild Rocket ahead of the Western region’s Newhaven Park Country Championships Qualifier (1400m).
