Waikato Stud’s champion stallion Savabeel sired his 84th stakes winner on Saturday when the Murray Baker and Andrew Forsman-trained mare Love Affair won the G3 Eagle Technology Stakes at Ellerslie.

Classy mare Love Affair called upon all her reserves to run down a gallant Meeska Mooska in the Gr.3 Eagle Technology Stakes (1600m) at Ellerslie on Saturday.

Fans of exciting mare Love Affair will have to wait another seven days to see her commence her spring campaign.

Murray Baker and Andrew Forsman are likely to be looking at suitable offshore targets for the quality mare Love Affair.
