Japanese-born jockey Masayuki Abe achieved a treble of winners at the five-event card at Atherton on Saturday.

The extended time at track work in the mornings and long hours in the car have started to pay off for North Queensland jockey Masayuki Abe.

The redeveloped Pease Park track at Innisfail has been given the tick of approval by participants as the Cassowary Coast-based club prepares for their return to racing.

With just three horses in work, Innisfail trainer Krystin Allender says she would be “over the moon” to qualify one of her gallopers for the 2021 TAB Battle of the Bush Final.
