An accident at Morphettville trackwork has resulted in trainer Leon Macdonald being hospitalised.

Australian Racing Hall of Fame trainer Leon Macdonald remains in hospital following an incident at Morphettville on Thursday morning.

Morphettville trainer Jim Smith landed his first winner in many months when his charge Midnight Storm took out the 1000 metre opening race at Morphettville on Saturday.
