Australian-bred South African Horse of the Year Oh Susanna added a second win in the prestigious G1 Paddock Stakes over 1800m at Kenilworth to her record on January 5.

Australian bred mare Oh Susanna took the top honours at South Africa’s annual Equus Awards where she was crowned Horse of the Year and Champion 3YO Filly for the 2017-18 season.

Australian-bred 3YO Oh Susanna won her third straight G1 race in South Africa on Saturday, capturing the Woolavington 2000 at Greyville.

Australian-breds Oh Susanna and Traces shared the spotlight with progeny by Captain Al on one of South African racing’s biggest days at Kenilworth on Saturday.
