Rookie Rockhampton trainer Sileas Green has taken to her new profession like a duck to water and is hopeful of landing her first double at Callaghan Park on Friday.

Former champion provincial jockey turned trainer Adrian Coome has shocked the racing industry with his decision to quit the sport.

After decades learning under her father Graeme, as well as many other respected racing mentors, Sileas Green is aiming to forge her own path in the industry in Central Queensland.
