Former Victorian Siren Rock earned a shot at next year’s northern winter carnival with a commanding victory in the Townsville Amateur Cup at Cluden Park on Sunday.

Townsville's Georgie Holt has already achieved her first target of 100 winners in her first five years as a trainer and is on her way to the next aim of winning a premiership at her home track.
