The Wow Signal’s daughter How Womantic landed first stakes winner as she showed her class in the Kevin Hayes Stakes at Caulfield.

The John Quinn-trained Prix Morny winner, owned by Al Shaqab Racing and between a 14-1 and 25-1 shot for the first Classic of the season, has suffered a setback.

The Wow Signal will have his final piece of work on Tuesday ahead of Sunday's Prix Jean-Luc Lagardere at Longchamp.
