James Mcdonald (Switzerland): "He's a proper little racehorse. He just turns up and does his job. There's no riff-raff with him. He's so economical, he's got the best attitude and that takes him a long way. He surprised me today. I thought that was an extremely good field and he won with a bit of authority in the end. I felt like I was really building to my top level right at the end, so he sustained a great gallop. And he's definitely the one to beat in the Slipper.

"He (Switzerland) is a proper racehorse. He just keeps turning up. The other one is completely different. He's a big beast of a colt and he's got so much character and enthusiasm about everything. This one, he's a racehorse. He gets out there and does it."

Tim Clark (Straight Charge): "Really nice run. He knuckled a little bit on jumping but recovered quickly. He was having a good time of it until a bit of pressure mid-stages from horses that finished out the back. So I thought his effort to hang on and just go down was pretty solid.".

Regan Bayliss (Shangri La Express): "Really pleased with the improvement he made going into the race today. The Grand Final is in two weeks' time and he is on track."

Tommy Berry (Bodyguard): "He's gone really well. He blew out late with the bit of time in between runs and will clean up nice for the Slipper."

Nash Rawiller (Espionage): "Pretty much nothing went right for us. At the end of the day we were still only beaten 2½/3 lengths. Very happy with the horse. He'll hopefully draw a bit better in the Slipper and we'll still be competitive."

Ryan Maloney (All Inclusive): "Just nothing went right from the get go."

Jason Collett (Getafix): "Actually quickened really well into the straight there. The further we went the shorter the action got. Obviously something not 100% with him."

Jordan Childs (Verlander): "He's just still a bit green and raw. He'll improve from the experience."
