2019 COONGY CUP – RACE ANALYSIS AND TIPS
Wolfe has blinkers on and goes forward from the good draw to lead. Nelson has natural pace and drawn to press on but they may be conservative first up off a long break.
WOLFE (6) looks to get plenty of favours here, controlling things from an ideal draw with the blinkers going back on. Gave a really good sight up in trip in the Bart Cummings and that can have him hard as nails back at 2000m. NELSON (2) is the X-Factor horse. Fantastic effort in the Arc last time he stepped out. Rarely see a class drop this big! Clearly could be in need of the run after over a year off but betting can tell us plenty.
YULONG PRINCE (1) is also easing in grade. Been okay in weight-for-age races and could improve at 2000m back against the handicapper. LUCKY FOR ALL (12) is building and stablemate OCEANEX (13) is interesting on the quick back up.
