2021 SHAFTESBURY AVENUE HANDICAP – RACE ANALYSIS AND TIPS

Strong early tempo with Morvada, Holbein and Sansom leading the way. All eyes on the North Queensland star THE HARROVIAN (2) who comes to Melbourne with a start in the All Star Mile the goal. That may well prove too rich but this is a lovely starting point for him and his winning run can continue.

I AM SUPERMAN (1) also resumes and looks well placed on the pick of his form. Fresh winner at 1400m when resuming in the spring and tipped to run well here. Thinking PLATOON (3) will measure up across from Perth where he has been racing well. The best of SANSOM (4) has come over the 1400m here where he is clearly well suited, as is BAM'S ON FIRE (5) who can be fitter for a solid return and has the top jock up.
