The Peter & Paul Snowden-trained My Whisper is destined for stakes company after registering her third successive win at Sandown

Following a maiden win at Kilmore before a Sandown victory against three-year-old fillies, My Whisper graduated to racing against older mares in the Ladbrokes Bet Ticker Handicap (1600m) on Wednesday.

It was another three-year-old filly that posed the biggest threat to My Whisper who was driven out to the line by Jamie Kah to record a brave win.

Sent off the $1.55 favourite, My Whisper scored by a half-neck from Glint Of Hope ($7) with Arctic Stone ($13) a further 4-¾ lengths away third.

Melbourne foreman Andrew Angelone said the Snowden stable was now looking at stepping the daughter of Frankel up to stakes company.

Angelone said the filly, who has raced exclusively in Melbourne since starting her career, could head to Sydney for a 1600m race against her own age during the Autumn Carnival, or she may be Adelaide bound for the Group 3 Auraria Stakes (1800m) at Morphettville on April 9.

"That was a relief," Angelone said after watching My Whisper hold off Glint Of Hope.

"I hate having $1.50 favourites running as it puts more pressure on you, but she won really well and fought all the way through.

"There is an option in Sydney over a mile and there is an 1800-metre race in Adelaide, but it all depends on how she pulls up, but hopefully we can get her to one of those races.

"She's done everything right this prep. She's still a work in progress physically so hopefully she gets better and better and builds through the prep.

"She's never been in that type of position before where she's had to fight.

"She's had to kick from pretty much the top of the straight and fight all the way, so it was pleasing."
