North Star Lass looks like being the next rich lot sold on Inglis Digital with a bid of more than a quarter-of-a-million dollars leading the race for the four-year-old two days out from the auction closing.

As of 4pm Monday, the daughter of Zoustar the Snitzel mare Sheila's Star was up to $255,000.

The bidding climax commences from 4pm Wednesday, meaning she is on track to join the likes of Miss Roseiano, Another Award, Jamaea and Daisies as mares to realise hefty price tags via Inglis Digital, which would be fitting according to her co-trainer Adrian Bott.

"We probably never really got to see the very best of her, but fortunately we saw enough of her to know she was right at that top level," Bott said.

"She was one of the top fillies of her generation, she beat them on certain occasions and was never beaten far when they got the better of her.

"Her record really is against the best and she more than held her own.''

North Star Lass has had 11 starts for two wins, the biggest of those coming in the Group 2 Furious Stakes (1200m) in September last year.

She also boasts two minor placings, including a third in last year's Group 1 Flight Stakes.

North Star Lass is part of a diverse Inglis Digital September (Early) Online Sale, which also features a share in a one-time Group 1 favourite, mares in-foal to popular stallions and stallion shares.

The stallion share to Supido was the second highest-priced lot of the sale on Monday afternoon, at $80,000, which was $5000 more than the leading bid for unraced Oasis Dream mare Tuscan Heat, who is in-foal to Wootton Bassett.

A five percent share in Detonator Jack is also up for grabs, with $22,500 the leading bid for the Jakkalberry five-year-old, who has won half of his 10 starts and finished third in the Group 1 South Australian Derby.
