Craig Williams will partner top class South Australian mare See You In Heaven when she makes her Melbourne return in the $300,000 Group 2 Let’s Elope Stakes (1400m) at Flemington on Saturday.
Craig Williams will be back aboard the Richard and Chantelle Jolly-trained four-year-old for the first time since running second in the Group 3 Vanity Stakes at Flemington over the 1400m back in February.
See You In Heaven resumed with a dominant win over Savatoxl in the Group 3 Behemoth Stakes at Morphettville before she was grabbed late by Seonee in the Listed Leon Macdonald Stakes last time out with Jake Toeroek in the saddle.
All eyes in the Let's Elope Stakes will be on superstar West Australian mare Amelia's Jewel who makes her eastern state's debut in the feature.
The mare's feature also sees the return to racing of last-start winner of the Group 2 Queen Of The South Stakes winner Caste for the Lindsay Park stable, while there will be plenty of Adelaide Racing Carnival form on show.
The Peter Moody and Katherine Coleman-trained Shuffle Dancer is first-up after running sixth behind subsequent 1 Goodwood winner Royal Merchant in the Group 2 Tobin Bronze, while R A Lee Stakes winner Foxy Frida also resumes following her Queensland campaign.
