Moravia will be given one more shot at a lucrative spring feature win this Saturday when he contests the $2 million Group 1 Coolmore Stud Stakes at Flemington.

The Snitzel colt was given a look at the Flemington straight last Friday morning, taking part in an 800-metre jumpout alongside key Coolmore rivals Shinzo, King's Gambit, Veight and Barber, which trainer Michael Freedman was happy with.

Moravia has not raced since his close-up sixth placing in the Group 1 Golden Rose on September 30, which followed unlucky second placings in the San Domenico Stakes and Run To The Rose, and Freedman is confident he has one more run left in what is his debut preparation.

"He did a great job and went as straight as a gun barrel, which was the most important thing," Freedman said of the jumpout.

"He has come through it well so we will front up next Saturday and try our luck.

"His form has been fantastic and for a horse in his first racing prep he has done a great job.

"Hopefully he can acquit himself well next week, but I'm really excited for the autumn for him."

Those three Group performances followed a dominant debut win in a 900m Newcastle maiden on August 10.

The $800,000 Magic Millions Gold Coast yearling will be one of two runners in the 1200-metre Coolmore for Freedman, who will also be represented by Mexico.

That $375,000 Inglis Classic colt, a son of Capitalist, has already raced down the straight, finishing fourth in the Listed Poseidon Stakes two starts ago, before a second placing in the Group 2 Roman Consul Stakes last time out but also jumped-out last Friday.

"He lost both his front shoes so it was a bit of a non-event for him," Freedman said.

"It's a bit difficult to get a guide on where he is at after the trial because basically he did it barefoot.

"But his run in the Roman Consul behind King's Gambit puts him somewhere in the mix in what I think is a pretty open Coolmore this year."

Jordan Childs will take the ride on Mexico, while Moravia will be Damien Oliver's final shot a maiden win in the Coolmore Stud Stakes at Group 1 level.
