Highness leapt into the Magic Millions 2YO Classic frame with his win at Wyong on Wednesday.

A $26 chance for the $3 million event on the Gold Coast before that event, the Snitzel colt is now single-figure odds after running down Spywire in the $200,000 Magic Millions Wyong Classic.

That 1100-metre event has been a good guide to the Gold Coast, with Unencumbered and Capitalist colt to have done the double, while blueblood filly Exhilarates bounced back after finishing second at Wyong to win on the Gold Coast.

They, however, all posted ratings significantly superior to what Highness came out of Wednesday's race with.

The $900,000 Michael Freedman -trained colt, who is out of a half-sister to Dissident, earned a Timeform rating of 102 for this three-quarters-of-a-length win in 1:03.25.

That is the lowest Timeform figure posted by a male winner of the Wyong Classic, two pounds inferior to Sovereign Fund's winning mark last year.

Capitalist went 112 at Wyong before winning the Gold Coast Classic in 116, while Unencumbered went from 109 at Wyong to 115 on the Gold Coast.

The second highest-rated Wyong Classic male winner behind Capitalist is Farnan, who went 110.

The Wyong Classic was only the second start for Highness, following a sixth placing in the Breeders' Plate at Randwick in late September, and winning jockeyTommy Berry expects him to elevate in the Gold Coast event.

"That is probably as underdone as you are going to see him and there is a lot more improvement there," Berry said after the race.

Below is a look at the male winners of the Wyong Magic Millions Classic, the rating they ran there and where they finished in the Gold Coast feature.

Wyong Magic Millions male winners

112 – Capitalist (won on the Gold Coast)
110 – Farnan (10th on the Gold Coast)
109 – Unencumbered (won on the Gold Coast)
108 – Unite And Conquer (13th on the Gold Coast)
106 – Zoutenant (14th on the Gold Coast)
106 – Jonker (last on the Gold Coast)
103 – Sovereign Fund (last on the Gold Coast)
