Trainer/jockey Siggy Carr left her Brighton stable confident her team would race well in Launceston on Friday night, and that's exactly what happened, with success coming in spades.

In what is believed to be an Australian record for a dual licence holder, Carr trained four winners and rode three of them.

Her exciting youngster Ms Tasmania will have her next run in the $85,000 Magic Millions in Launceston next month after a dazzling display at just her second race start in the 2YO Maiden (1100m).

Heavily backed from $3 to start the $1.95 favourite, Ms Tasmania settled a little worse than midfield but, with a sharp turn of foot, hit the front at the top of the straight before racing away to win by more than two lengths.

"She actually surprised me; that was pretty impressive, and she's still got a lot more to improve on.

"I'm actually a little shocked she won so well," trainer/rider Siggy Carr said after the race.

"I probably just wanted to get going about the 600m; I just had to pop her off three deep to keep her momentum going, and credit to my trackwork rider Jacob Duggan. This horse has been hard work, and he's done all the work on her."

Carr made it a race-to-race double when Rockierro led all the way for an overdue win in the 1200m Maiden, scoring from Rohzhae ($5.50) with La Folie Douce ($7) running on well for third.

Rockierro had been placed at his past three starts and, on the strength of a solid second in Hobart at his most recent run, was sent out the $2.90 favourite.

Carr made it three for the night when her promising staying mare Swoop There It Is ($3.60 – $2.60) made a one-act affair of the 2100m BM68.

Carr admitted she got the tactics wrong when Swoop There It Is finished sixth in the Brighton Cup in Hobart but rode a copybook race on the 4YO in Launceston.

"She will definitely make it as a stayer.

"This time next year, we will be going to the better races, but for now, we will keep her in this type of grade, and she's now heading for a freshen-up; we'll look for a race at the end of February."

Her fourth winner for the night came when Periwinkle ($6.50) ridden by apprentice Lizzie Annells took out the 1100m class 2, beating Philosophers Stone ($2.40) with Carr's only other runner for the night, Rubbleonthedouble, ($4.40) finishing third.
