In the best finish of the day on Friday afternoon’s 10-race card in Hobart, Kings On Queens landed a betting plunge, scoring in a three-way photo from Princess Matoaka ($15) with Dantes ($3.90) third.

Trainer Glenn Stevenson won his fourth Newmarket Handicap (1200m), and jockey Codi Jordan her second, when First Accused ($14 – $9) stormed home to win from last season’s Vamos Stakes winner Jaja Chaboogie ($61) and Jaguar Stone ($11) in Launceston on Wednesday night.
