A genuine heavy track appears set to greet punters at Randwick for Saturday’s Spring Champion Stakes meeting.

It’s Doncaster Day tomorrow at Randwick and the ten race card does not disappoint.

Jameka has followed up her strong recent form with a win in the 2017 Group 1 The BMW (2400m) at Rosehill last Saturday.

A heavy track at Randwick on Saturday made for an interesting day of racing which saw Inference take out the Group 1 Randwick Guineas (1600m).

The decision to reduce it to a mile has been a resounding success given the winners of the race.
