Port Macquarie trainer Paul Shailer has had his hands full recently, as the new father of twin boys and with a big stable move coming up, and at Taree races on Thursday he’s got two terrific chances with Narnia ($4.20 on TAB) and Passionate Rebel ($4.40).

Following a training treble at the circuit last week, the Wayne Wilkes stable is set for another successful day at the Port Macquarie race meeting scheduled on Monday afternoon.

Port Macquarie trainer Paul Shailer says former expensive yearling Narnia, about to begin his second campaign for the stable at Taree on Monday, has matured during a break and is looking much more like the horse they believe he can be.

Shalailed will be among a handful of youngsters at Randwick bidding to qualify for a Magic Millions berth.

Ciaron Maher and David Eustace are favoured to draw first blood in the two-year-old races with Written Tycoon filly Coolangatta.
