After three-years as an apprentice on loan to Team Wells, Peter Lui has finally been given the green light to return to his native Hong Kong.

Well bred mare Crystal Pallazo (Warrior’s Reward-Carnelian Crystal) produced a form reversal to score an impressive maiden win in Hobart on Sunday.

Apprentice Peter Lui was due to return to Hong Kong late las year as his tenure with Team Wells had expired but due to that country’s borders being closed due to the pandemic, he has remained in the state.

In-form apprentice Peter Lui heads to South Australia on Wednesday to contest the first heat of the National Apprentice Race Series (NARS) at Murray Bridge.
