Adelaide Cup winner Daqiansweet Junior will jump from barrier seven in Saturday’s $2m Group 1 Sydney Cup at Royal Randwick.
Champion South Australian jockey Kerrin McEvoy is the new rider for the Phillip Stokes gelding after Jamie Kah elected to ride the Chris Waller-trained Crystal Pegasus in the two-mile feature.
Adelaide Cup runner-up Tigertiger has drawn barrier two for trainer Rob Blacker, while Future Score, who finished third, will jump from gate 16.
Kah also partners Zaaki in the $4m Group 1 Queen Elizabeth Stakes (2000m), the Annabel Neasham import is hoping to add another feature to his stunning resume after a last start win in the $5m All-Star Mile.
Local galloper Dalasan drew the inside barrier in the Queen Elizabeth with Chad Schofield again aboard after they finished fifth behind Mr Brightside in last weekend's Group 1 Doncaster.
